As someone who grew up with a hairdresser  mother, I learned a lot of beauty secrets and tricks that have stayed with me throughout the years. One of the most effective and simple remedies my mother taught me was her homemade hair mask, which she would whip up using ingredients commonly found in the kitchen. This hair mask was always a go-to for my mother, especially before important events like weddings, and it never failed to give my hair an extra boost of shine and strength.

And now, I am excited to share this hair mask recipe with you all.

 

Ingredients:

- 1 egg yolk

- 5 tablespoons of organic olive oil

- 1 table  spoon of honey

- 1 tablespoon of organic yogurt (optional)

 

Instructions:

1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

2. Divide your hair into two sections.

3. Apply the hair mask from roots to the ends, making sure you massage it into your scalp.

4. Leave the mask on for 30-40 minutes.

5. Rinse your hair thoroughly with first cold then warm (not hot) water and shampoo as usual.
